Dimensionless analysis on Darrieus rotor efficiency

First, the variables that will affect the efficiency of a Darrieus VAWT are guessed and listed.

Then, the guessed variables equations are normalised to dimensionless form.

So, the final 6 variables are the chord to diameter ratio, tip speed ratio, number of blade, aspect ratio, Reynolds number, and the airfoil type (excluded for convenience). Note that the familiar solidity parameter is decoupled here into two variables, which will give one extra effect, which is the turbulent from increasing number of blades.
